“Let no man despise thy youth; but be an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

The teen ministry partners with the parents to train young people to be disciples for Christ and to know what it means to follow Christ. The teen Ministry equips and empowers the teens spiritually with the word of God through Bible studies and practical teaching so that the teens will grow in their faith and be godly examples to other teens. The teens are given opportunities to participate in worship services at various times throughout the year reading scripture, in prayer, as well as preparing and presenting various speeches. The teens also participate in events yearly such as the Annual Youth Explosion, the Annual Christmas Program, and during Black History Month to name a few. The teens have served as volunteers at WLFJ, a local outreach ministry, and they have also participated in trips to National Youth Conferences. Christ Family Church Teen Ministry has weekly Bible studies on Thursday evenings.
